Joshua Rodriggs

Joshua Rodriggs, CEO, president and founder of SIS4Biz – Strategic International Solutions for Business, is a dual citizen of Brazil and United States and has been, for many years, an architect for business development in both countries. Besides being fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish he also fully understands the cultural aspects of Brazil, other Latin American countries and United States.

Most recently, until 2009, Mr. Rodriggs worked for Jacksonville Port Authority as the Manager for Latin America. Mr. Rodriggs has been involved in several business start ups and development throughout his 25 years of international trade and logistics experience. In the 90’s he helped the start up of Maersk Line in Brazil that grew, after the first year, to over half a million a month in sales within the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina, Brazil. While in Miami, he worked with Navieras de Puerto Rico (NPR) and Transrol Navegação developing new trade lanes and service called TNX throughout the Caribbean and Brazil. Yet in Miami he worked as the South Florida Sales Manager for Aliança – Hamburg Sud. He helped structure a project in Manaus, Brazil with Eastman Chemicals for distribution and logistics of its 400 containers a month at the time and he also managed NVOCC and freight forwarding operations, developing international agents and procedures, all prior to moving to Jacksonville.

During his carrier working with ocean carriers he had the opportunity to expand in knowledge and understanding in manufacturing, distribution, trade, logistics and global operations while providing services to companies in several different industries.

Mr. Rodriggs believes in volunteering time for a good causes; he is a director for US Trade Florida, a 501c(3), is an active member of the board of directors for ACG - Association of Corporate Growth, and is the president of a non profit called Brazil-Florida Alliance, formally know as Brazil-Jacksonville Alliance. An association, 501c(6), he started soon after moving to Jacksonville as a strategy to connect Jacksonville to Curitiba, Brazil and to improve the proximity between Jacksonville and Orlando for international business development. Within a year after organizing the Alliance he architected the partnership and the visit of the Mayor from Curitiba with a delegation of ten people that came to Jacksonville to sign the Sister Cities Agreement. In 2010 he also led a delegation of eleven people representing the cities of Jacksonville and Orlando to Brazil for meetings with Federal and local government officials and to participate and speak at a conference in Curitiba, Brazil.

Mr. Rodriggs is a senior executive able to pull from past experiences and create strategies for structure, operations and sales efforts for the development of domestic and international markets.

Michael Chelette - Executive Partner

Michael is a marketing professional with an MBA from Almeda University and extensive experience in business development, startups, mergers and acquisitions. His proven leadership involvement with several international companies like Hoogland Spinal Products, MiaSoft Ltd ,Bio Medical Devices International Ltd, Shandong Weigo Manufacturing, Bio Medical Disposal Inc and Bio Conversion Technologies Inc, provided Michael with strong knowledge and expertise in the Health and Medical industry combined with project management involving product redesign, trade, logistics, and industrial medical waste disposal systems, among others.

Jared Lombardi - Executive Partner

Jared has a proven resourceful performer record with demonstrated ability to gain national and international market penetrations, while launching or implementing new product lines and/or services. 15 years working for top 10 of the global ocean carriers and freight forwarding industry leaders that include, DHL Global, Panalpina, CSAV and Libra. Specialist in ocean freight procurement and carrier negotiations with developed rapport at headquarters level. Responsible for direct management, coordination and growth of global accounts like Colgate, Wal-Mart, Sonoco, Sunbeam, among many others.

Jim Mathews - Executive Partner

Jim has 30 years of management experience in a variety of industries focusing on process improvements through shared services center, corporate reorganization, financial system implementation, IT assessment, business process outsourcing, supply chain, and program management office projects. His recent assignments include project manager for four large projects in Latin America. For each project, Jim worked with corporate sponsors in the United States and Europe to deliver a successful ROI and to align the Latin American operations with their corporate strategy. Jim has worked for E&Y, Anderson, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jim is a CPA, and was Director of Accounting for The Haskell Company and Chief Financial Officer for CSX Technology, a subsidiary of CSX, where he implemented a Shared Services Center and then managed the mature SSC for 6 years.

Mauricio Gomm Dos Santos - Executive Partner

Mauricio is a senior level Brazilian international attorney licensed to practice in Brazil, and is a certified foreign legal consultant with the Florida Bar. He is experienced with a variety of arbitration procedures and fluent in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and basic Italian. A counselor for domestic and international litigation and arbitration proceedings in the field of commercial contracts, agency, distribution, franchising agreements, corporate and project finance. He has also served as counsel in litigation proceedings in the field of banking and insurance law.

Marcelo Lacerda - Executive Partner

Marcelo is a Brazilian CPA and Director of Accountant, his team provides companies of variable sizes and activities with the needed support on accounting, auditing, Brazilian tax laws, analysis of labor cost and tracking sales of products or services. Managing several aspects of data and producing relevant reports to help decision-making for growth process. Marcelo worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brazil and understands the process of providing proper advice to help companies perform in compliance with all regulations and avoid unnecessary headaches with human resources, tax administration, and laws related to corporations in Brazil.

Lewis B. Hunter, Jr - Executive Partner

A 1974 graduate of the University of Florida, he is a member of the Results Accountants Network and the Institute of Management Accountants, a Certified Valuation Accountant and Member of the AICPA, FICPA, IMA and NACVA. Lewis began his career with the international accounting and consulting firm of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Hunter manages all firm client services, performs audit and accounting services for a variety of businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Hunter manages or performs all the examinations of overhead rates that are reported to the Florida Department of Transportation. He managed the attestation services as required by the Department of Environmental Protection of applicants for reimbursement for costs incurred in remediation of petroleum contamination of underground storage tanks.

Beverly Randolph – Partner

Beverly is an industrial engineer with a MS from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a program and project manager with skills in creating industrial efficiencies, business and product development for startups projects specializing in waste to energy, biodegradable degreasers and renewable resources, as well as global corporations and educational institutions. Beverly has acquired experiences through out several projects while working with companies like Eastman Kodak and IBM among others. Beverly has extensive expertise in manufacturing operations and IT development combined with grant procurement and educational instruction capabilities.

Edney Resende de Moura

Mr. Moura is a retired General of the Brazilian Army where he served for many years as the person in charge of budget, equipment, contracts and special projects of the Army. He is a graduate in economics and holds a master in the study of Brazilian problems from UERJ. During his carrier in the Army he worked with several Ministers in economic, financial and government areas and Deputy Chief of the Cabinet. In 1996 -97 he was the head of the Brazilian Army Commission in Washington, DC. Prior to Washington, DC assignment he served as Secretary of the Federal Budget in Brasilia, Brazil’s capital, where Mr. Moura still resides with his family. General Resende Moura is knowledgeable, much respected and well connected within the Brazilian Army and Federal Government of Brazil.
